Fees & Extended Health
$140 for a 50 min session
We have packages available which we will adapt to your personal needs. Please call us to discuss.
The fee is collected at the end of each session and payable via cash, cheque or e-Transfer as payment for counselling sessions.
Avant Counselling requires 24-hour advance notice of cancellation or rebooking of appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, will be billed 100% of the cost of the session. Missed appointments are also charged the full session fee.
Receipt of payment of services will be available upon request.
Benefits and insurance coverage
Extended health care benefits and private health insurance providers may cover a portion or all of your counselling services. Depending on your provider, some plans will cover Registered Social Workers while others will not. It is advised that a client check with his/her employer and/or benefits and insurance provider to see what services are covered. Many clients also choose to pay privately for their own counselling services.
